NON SALON @ FEEL

The Feel Festival in Brandenburg stands out as one of my most complex and rewarding projects to date. This festival, known for its vibrant atmosphere and eclectic mix of music and arts, presented a unique set of challenges and opportunities that pushed the boundaries of my visual art.

My role at the festival was to create the visuals for the spectacular Non Chalance Music stage. The stage featured a striking Vice City-themed cityscape, with the “NON SALON” sign prominently displayed. From the center of this setup, a car emerged, adding a dramatic element to the scene.

The combination of the “two-dimensional background and signage” with the three-dimensional car that extended out from the stage was impressive even during the day, without projections. However, when the 20,000-lumen projector illuminated the stage after sunset, the full impact of the setup was revealed. The interplay of projections and lighting transformed the stage into a captivating visual experience.

To ensure that the visuals remained engaging over the course of the festival, they were continuously updated each night. This dynamic approach kept the Non Chalance stage fresh and enchanting, ensuring that visitors were consistently drawn into the experience.

It was a tremendous pleasure to be part of this production. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the exceptional stage designer, Ravel, as well as to Non Chalance and the Feel Festival for their trust and collaboration. I look forward to potentially seeing you all again next year by Lake Bergheide!
