What is VJing?
VJing, or Video Jockeying, involves mixing video content in real-time, much like a DJ mixes music. Using various visual sources, VJs create dynamic displays that enhance the music and atmosphere of events. These visuals are typically displayed on monitors, LED walls, or through projections.

We specialize in projections, designing custom stage modules for projection or utilizing the existing features of event locations. This method allows us to incorporate real-world elements into our visuals, creating depth and captivating guests. This type of projection is rare, making it particularly fascinating for audiences.

While some shows are tightly synchronized with timecodes, we prefer a more flexible approach. We program visuals live, responding to the event’s mood and vibe, ensuring a more dynamic and engaging experience.

We are flexible and can adapt to different venues. We are happy to discuss the specific requirements of your venue.
While we are based in NRW Germany, it doesn’t limit our operations. Essentially, no distance is too far for us to illuminate your event!
It’s advisable to contact us as early as possible, ideally a few months before the planned event. This gives us enough time to discuss all details and develop a tailored solution. However, for short-notice events, especially in the VJ operating area, we can accommodate “last-minute” inquiries to bring captivating visuals to your event.
Absolutely! We can incorporate custom logos and brand images into the visuals to create a unique brand presence.
We typically work with our own setup, arriving with a laptop and various controllers to connect with the available technology on-site. We’re not event technicians and don’t usually handle equipment setup or provision.
For our operation, we require a secure space to set up our equipment and ideally have visibility of the dance floor to gauge the impact of our visuals.
Costs vary depending on the project. To provide a more accurate estimate, we need to understand your vision for the visual upgrade, and we can then create a customized proposal.
A VJ specializes in presenting synchronized visual content on screen with music, whereas a Lightjockey (LJ) focuses on orchestrating lighting effects for live performances. Notably, the roles of LJ and VJ often complement each other.
While we appreciate musical diversity, we’ve found that extremely fast-paced genres starting around 160 BPM (excluding Drum and Bass) pose challenges for our unique visual approach. It becomes challenging for us to effectively capture the dance floor’s energy in these situations. As a result, we tend to avoid events centered primarily around such genres. Our expertise shines brightest in Dub, HipHop, House, Techno, Trance, and DnB.
